Although tobacco use is still the single largest preventable cause of death and chronic disease in the United States, only about 30 percent of U.S. colleges and universities currently have smoke-free or tobacco-free policies in place. In 2010, nearly 25 percent of full-time college students ages 18-24 were smokers. This infographic was created to inform college students about the benefits of living smoke-free, and to highlight resources that can be used to promote smoke-free campuses.
Care Matters provides resources for living a healthy lifestyle and kicking the smoking habit. If you or someone you know needs help to quit smoking tobacco, you can contact us by calling 248-691-9034 or by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
